The original appearance of the Dashan Seismic Station
Located at the northernmost tip of Shandong Province, the Dashan Seismic Station in Wushishan Town, Wudi County is also a station of the Shandong Seismic Monitoring Network, the Bohai Sea Earthquake Monitoring Network and the Capital Circle Earthquake Monitoring Network. It is also an efficient ecological economy in the Yellow River Delta. The only comprehensive seismic monitoring station in the intersection of the District, the Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone and the Jinan Provincial Capital Economic Circle has a very advantageous geographical position and an irreplaceable role.
The Dashan Seismic Station observation project is complete. At present, the seismic monitoring, seismic, deformation, fluid and information five universities have been launched.
At the same time of completing the earthquake monitoring work, in order to give full play to the science and technology resources for earthquake prevention and disaster reduction of earthquake stations, the first “Earthquake and Volcano Museum” in Shandong Province was built, which filled the gap in such museums in our province.
The Shishishan Earthquake and Volcano Museum covers an area of 923.8 square meters. It has a function hall of: Earthquake Monitoring and Forecasting Department, Science Popularization Education Department, 4D Motion Theater and Multi-function Report Hall.xx
